Trading Edge is run by Mehul Harkawat ("we", "us"), in India. We decide how your data is used (data fiduciary).

Account: your name, email, mobile number and how long you have been trading. If you sign in with Google: your Google email and name.

Trades: the F&O trades in the tradebook you upload (date and time, contract, buy/sell, quantity, price, order and trade numbers) and the reports we make from them.

We do not keep the uploaded file, your PAN or your client ID. The file is read once and discarded.

App data: your login session is kept in your browser or phone so you stay signed in.

To save your trades and build your journal, reports and progress tracking.

Anonymised and combined with other traders (groups of 30+, never you individually): to improve the product, train our own AI, and publish insights and reports.

Your own activity: to personalise what you see in the app, including our offers and partner offers. We never share your data with partners.

Only if you tick the separate box: to send you product updates and offers on email or WhatsApp.

We never sell your data. We do not give investment advice and do not use your data to trade.

Supabase (database and login, hosted in Mumbai, India), our server provider (India), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), and, for AI features, AI providers working for us under contract. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.

Until you delete your account, or until we stop offering the service. Anonymised, combined data no longer identifies you and may be kept.

Access: ask for a summary of your data and how it is used.

Correction: ask us to correct or complete your data.

Erasure and withdrawal: delete your account and all your data anytime with "Delete my account" in the app, or email us. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

Grievance: write to our grievance officer above. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Nomination: you may nominate a person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.

You must be 18 or older to use this service.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), each user can only access their own records (row-level security), and the uploaded file is never stored. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
